Beboppin' Babies
Pre-walkers 6 months and older 

Sharing music with babies is fun! Come join us for this enjoyable and developmentally appropriate baby class which provides families with a special place for learning and connecting with others through music. In this session, we will sing, play and dance as we explore musical concepts including pitch, tempo, stopping and starting, as well as dynamics like loud and soft. An abundance of shakers, rhythms sticks, baby tambourines, bubbles, colorful scarves and puppets enhance the music and create a rich multi-sensory environment for all.  Adults enjoy class just as much as their babies! Classes fill quickly. Please register early to guarantee a spot. 

       

These Shoes Are Made for Walkin’ (and Dancing Too!) 
Walkers up to 23 months

At this age children like to move A LOT! They are learning new physical skills and also beginning to observe, interact and explore new environments. In this nurturing, movement-filled class for new walkers, children enjoy singing, dancing, playing simple instruments, exploring, and interacting socially with one another. Come play with us. We love to share!  

Terrific Twos
24-35 months

Children at this age are getting better and better at learning how to socialize with others while exploring music at the same time. At this age, kids can follow the flow of a group class and can listen for slightly longer periods, as long as they are engaged. And we have our fun parachutes, scarves, stories, bubbles and loads of age-appropriate instruments to engage them! This class is an enjoyable place for adults to interact and grow with one another too. Come join us. We promise you will have just as much fun as the children! 

Threes and Fours, Let's Move Some More
Preschool age children 36-59 months

Preschool age children enjoy socializing, playing and interacting creatively together. In this joyful, movement-filled class, children have plenty of opportunity to dance, sing, explore instruments and play, play, play! Literacy and language skills are also fostered through singing and other types of vocal play. In this class, we continue to build upon the musical elements of pitch, tempo and the dynamics of loud and soft. Come learn, sing and play music together with us! 

Now That We Are Five and Six
For kindergarteners

Looking for something to do with your kindergartener? Why not bring him or her to music class? This program has been created specifically for five and six year old children currently in kindergarten. The class contains all the fun props like drums, rhythm sticks, bells, shakers and all kinds of other entertaining things. Kids this age are getting better and better at hearing the beat and musical pitch too. Play a drum or two. Dance to the beat. Share some time with your growing child (it goes by fast!) and other parents of kindergarteners too!

The kids in your program will love it! Parachute play, bubble fun, group movement activities and the lively exploration of percussion instruments are just some of the many offerings.  Miss Lisa has created many themes, songs and musical activities available for you summer programs and sessions.
